Stop The Bleed ® Course - 2023

Registration:

• This first course is only open to KGAC Instructors and Range Discipline Chairs / Co-Chairs. If you register and do not qualify in one of those categories, your registration will be cancelled, and your payment refunded.
• More courses will be run if there is interest from Club members.

Equipment Requirements:

• Pen.
• Paper.
• Clothes you don't mind getting dirty or stained.
• Food / water for the day.

Have you ever wondered what you would do if you or someone you care about suffered a life-threatening hemorrhage? Have you been trained how to use a tourniquet or how to pack a wound?

Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. That’s why bleeding control—keeping the blood inside the body—is the purpose of STOP THE BLEED ® training.

The KGAC will be running a STOP THE BLEED ® program. This inaugural course will be limited to a maximum of 12 students and will include theory, hands on skills, and scenario style training. It will be a 10 hour day and you'll need to be present for the entire course. You'll leave with skills that could save your life or the life of someone else, a better idea of what to include in your own Individual First Aid Kit, and a STOP THE BLEED ® certificate.
