  • A positive attitude and curious mind.
Have you ever wondered what you would do if you or someone you care about suffered a life-threatening hemorrhage? Have you been trained how to use a tourniquet or how to pack a wound?

Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. That’s why bleeding control—keeping the blood inside the body—is the purpose of STOP THE BLEED ® training.

The course will begin at the Exshaw Legion where we will cover theory and practice skills for the morning. We will travel to the Lease around noon which will also serve as our lunch break, so please bring food and water. At the Lease we will engage in scenario-based training where you will get the opportunity to practice the skills you will learn in the morning.

The afternoon is outdoors, so dress for the weather; rain, or shine!
